Upcoming Assignment – Week of 1 October- Research paper based on your hometown – Due October 31st, 2008. Hand-out with directions will be provided.
You should have started your research. Compile notes, use index cards. Visit your local library.
October 28 – You should now be constructing the document from your research. YOU MUST SUBMIT THIS TO TURNITIN.COM BY FRIDAY. The paper with illustrations can be turned in on Monday, the latest.
Chapter 13, Section 1- Monday, 9/8/2008 – and subsequent days. Questions 1, 3 & 4 at the end of each section will be completed and turned in until the chapter is finished. IE, on Tuesday morning, Section 2 will be handed in.
Week of September 30- Completion of Chapter 15 – Test – Monday, October 6th
Week of October 9 – Chapter 16 – Sections followed by Questions 1, 3 & 4
Week of October 13 – We will review three sections of Chapter 16. Ensure notetaking for class discussion.
Week of October 14 – Test Review Friday. All homework in by Friday. TEST on MONDAY, October 20th.
Week of October 20 – Chapter 17 – Sections 1-5, Questions 1,3 & 4 for Homework
November 4 – Chapter Test -
November 6 and 10 – Classroom assignments – turn in as homework upon completion
November 17 – Review for Chapter test – 18
November 18 – Chapter Test
November 19 – Chapter 19, Section I – Questions 1,3 & 4
December 1 – we will review WWI chapter for testing puposes.
Merry Christmas – You will read and outline The Roaring Twenties, and on Tuesday, be responsible for Section 2, questions 1,3,4
Monday – January 12th- Chapter Test on the “Roaring Twenties”
Tuesday thru Friday, reconstruct all test reviews for Mid-Term Exam. Collate on homework for assistance in studying.
Term Paper – Student will pick any battle during WWII of their choosing, and complete a 5 page, type-written document to TURNITIN.com by March 17th, 2009. A hand-out was issued with guidelines. No paper copy or e-mail is accepted. February 17th, 2009.
